This time I will tell you about different Chinese inventions. Here is the list with the explanations:
1. Ice cream. In about 2000BC, Chinese people packed a milk and rice mixture in the snow.
2. Gunpowder. It was written 1044 in the Collection of the Most Important Military Techniques,by Zeng Goliang.
3. Alcohol. In the 3rd century BC the Chinese found out a way to refine vinegar and soy sauce by fermenting them. Drinks soon came later.
4. The Compass. The earliest compasses were created in the fourth century B.C. They were made of lodestone. Lodestone is a magnetic iron ore.

Those are some of the Chinese inventions. There are many more but these are the most important. Good bye.

  1. That's very interesting, James! I had no idea that the people of China invented so many things! I knew that they invented gunpowder however. I didn't know that they invented ice cream! I'm very thankful for that. I enjoy reading your blog and I can't wait to learn more about China
